This combination of cardio, strength and flexibility training is geared toward adults, and can accommodate all fitness levels. This class is for adult men and women who want to learn to train safely and effectively while also getting a super training session in at the same time.
For your own personal safety, Fitness Classes this summer will be focused on bodyweight exercises (i.e. no special equipment required).
We are inviting participants in the Fitness Classes to bring the following equipment with them to each class in order to enhance their experience.
1. Yoga Mat or Gym Mat or Thick Towel (at times we will be doing exercises on the ground in the sand court or on the deck)
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT FOR INCREASED LOAD
- 2 x Cans of Food (these will be used as weights) or 2 x 1-3 lb dumbbells.
- BackPack Filled up with load (i.e. books, more cans of food, a big bag of pet food, ...)
Equipment cannot be left at the club and should be brought back to your cottage/home after each session.
No sharing of any equipment or water bottles will be permitted.
** Buy a Fitness Pass and use it for "Run for the Hills", "Adult Strength & Conditioning", and "Upgrade your Range of Motion" classes!
